Statement of Purpose and Intent
A Statement of Purpose and Intent “Just what
are you doing on the Internet?” This is what some folks have asked! And here is our answer to
that and several other burning questions!
We are working to support the Anthroposophical community, and all who seek to expand their knowledge and enrich their lives.
The e.Lib, Inc. is the parent initiative for several efforts, in particular Anthroposophical Publications [https://AnthroposophicalPublications.org/], working to publish the more than 3,000 lectures of Rudolf Steiner that have never been translated to English, as well as other works related to Anthroposophical thinking.
The e.Lib, Inc. is also the umbrella for other aspects of our online presence, in particular Fine Art Presentations, with the Internet's only presence of Anthroposophically-influenced Artists, and the KnowNews Newswire, featuring articles and happenings from around the world with an Anthroposophic bent.
After more than 43 years as creator/developer of the Rudolf Dteiner e.Lib, the e.Librarian has donated his extensive library of works by Rudolf Steiner and other Anthroposophical authors, and a significant amount of computer equipment, to a new Librarian along with the “Rudolf Dteiner e.Lib” name itself. The new owners will continue to provide ongoing technical support, including maintaining Archive backups. It was time for a younger person to guarantee the future of the Rudolf Steiner e.Lib for the coming decades. Be sure to keep in touch with them ... they need to know how they are doing.
